Happy Easter

Here are a couple pictures from the Easter long weekend.  The Easter bunny was very busy over here.

Thursday Sydney came home from Kindergarten with a basket full of goodies that the Easter Bunny hid in Kindergarten.

Sunday morning the girls found their Easter baskets.

Sunday afternoon they girls found lots of Easter eggs hidden in the Living Room.

Monday morning the girls found more Easter goodies outside the door.

Hope everyone had a great long weekend filled with lots of fun and chocolate.

From Animals to Princesses

Sydney was complaining the other day that she needed a princess bed and room to match.  So I decided to surprise her by starting to change her room by changing the pictures on the wall from animals to princesses.

 So here are the old animal pictures that matched the girls bedding.

Last nights hard work - I stayed up far too late finishing up all the pictures.  Sydney loved the change this morning.  Even Ashlyn got excited to see the princesses above her bed.

Newsletter 2011

Better late then never.  It seems that every year it takes longer and longer to get the newsletter ready, despite all the good intentions of getting done in January, it just doesn't happen. Just a warning to anyone who reads it - it is very long - sorry.

Somebody's 30 today!

Somebody's 30 today - I won't name any names but will give a couple clues.

It's not big sister's birthday,

It's not the blond's birthday

It is this one in the tree's birthday.

It's not the little girls's birthdays.

Here is the birthday girl with her 2 kids.

Happy 30th Birthday !
Sydney and Ashlyn will sing to you later today.

Robots Part 2

Here are the finished robots.  The girls have fun putting them on and off, especially Ashlyn.  Now the girls want robot heads like the one in the picture of Sydney with a box on her head - so maybe this isn't the end of the robots after all.

What do you do on a Sunday afternoon when the kids find some Cardboard boxes?
 Build robots of course.

Kindergarten Carnival

Last Monday Sydney's Kindergarten celebrated Fasching (Carnival).  Sydney has been excited and asking every day since the invitations went home if it's Fasching yet.  I was asked to help out and make waffels with another mom for the kids party so Ashlyn got to tag along.  She loved actually getting to go into Kindergarten. Normally she just sees everyone as we drop off and pick up Sydney.
